MACON, GEORGIA (December 21, 2016) – An employee of a Macon plastics company that was killed on Wednesday morning has been identified as 55 year old John Brooks, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened sometime after 8:00 am at the Diamond Plastic Company at 7614 Industrial Boulevard in Bibb County. John Brooks was reportedly crushed between two pipes on a forklift for unknown reasons.
John Brooks was found by a worker coming to relive him around 8:00 am. The coroner’s office responded to the scene and pronounced John Brooks dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
