LOUDON COUNTY, TENNESSEE(December 22, 2016) – A worker was badly injured after they fell into a hole at a construction site on Thursday afternoon off of Hummingbird Drive, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened after noon at a construction site on Hummingbird Drive. A worker using a Bob cat machine fell into a six foot hole for unknown reasons.
The worker was airlifted to a local hospital by Lifestar, due to serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing into the cause of the accident, but initial reports indicate the bobcat machine may have fallen in upside down.
