CHP Investigating Collision on I-5
LOST HILLS, CALIFORNIA (December 21, 2016) – The California Highway Patrol reported injuries in a 2-vehicle crash along the southbound 5 Freeway near Weiser Road. (map)
According to the CHP report, the accident occurred at about 1:26 a.m. when a white Toyota Camry and another silver sedan collided for unknown reasons.
The impact caused one of the vehicles to overturn into a ditch. A passenger in one of the vehicles was unconscious after the accident.
By the time law enforcement arrived, some of the injured parties were trying to get out from their vehicle.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and provided medical attention to any injured parties.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
