LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (April 12, 2017) – A woman was killed after she was struck by a car on Hobart Boulevard on Wednesday night, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:33 pm on Hobart Boulevard near 89th Street. A woman in her 60s was pushing a shopping cart filled with recyclables, when she was struck by a car of unknown make and model.
The woman was rushed to an area hospital, but tragically died the next morning. The driver that struck the woman fled the scene, and authorities are on the lookout for the driver. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
