LAPD Sergeant Joseph Ivankay reported that the school bus, driven by 51-year-old Los Angeles resident, was traveling northbound on Normandie around 6:30 a.m. when a white 1998 Isuzu, driven by a 39-year-old Los Angeles man, crossed over the double-yellow line for unknown reasons and crashed into the school bus that was transporting seven middle school students.

Sergeant Ivankay states that the students walked away uninjured while the bus driver and the motorist of the Isuzu were transported to a hospital with complaints of pain.

“We wish a swift and steady recovery for all motorists who were injured in this collision. Our prayers are with all subjects injured, their friends and families during such a difficult time,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California car accident attorney.
