The accident happened just after 12:22 am on the 405 Freeway near Howard Hughes Parkway. Seven unidentified vehicles were involved in a collision for unknown reasons, blocking the first, second and third lanes of the freeway. One vehicle was found facing the wrong way on the center divider, and three others were blocking middle lanes.
At least one person was injured in the accident, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident. The condition of those involved is unknown at this time, and the investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
