LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (April 14, 2017) – Three to four vehicles were involved in a collision on Interstate 5 on Friday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 2:14 pm on the 5 Freeway, just north of the connector with the 110 Freeway. A gold minivan, a gray BMW, a black Toyota Camry, and a maroon sedan were reportedly involved in a collision. At least one of the drivers fled the scene after the accident.
An ambulance responded to the scene as well as paramedics, but the extent of injuries suffered in the accident is unknown at this time. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability.
