LOS ANGELES: Hit and Run Injury Collision on 66th and Vermont

“Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision”

LOS ANGELES. CALIFORNIA (MAY 21, 2017) – A female pedestrians was struck by and unknown vehicle Sunday evening on 66th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. (map)

The crash happened at around 9:40 p.m. The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to the scene to find a female pedestrian that was hit by an unknown vehicle. The female pedestrian was transported to the hospital where she was said to be in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle was not at the scene at the time authorities arrived at the scene. It is unknown if the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk. An investigation is ongoing to determine he suspect’s whereabouts.
