LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (April 12, 2017) – A car caught on fire after an accident on Interstate 10 on Wednesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 9:12 am on the westbound side of the 10 Freeway near Manning Avenue. A gold Toyota Camry and a Nissan truck were involved in a collision for an unknown reason. The Camry caught on fire almost immediately after the accident, and became fully engulfed in moments.
At least one person was injured in the accident, and an ambulance responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
