Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash with SUV on Southbound 405 Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 17, 2017 – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with another vehicle on the southbound 405 Freeway, south of Getty Center Drive. The crash happened at about 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, January 14th.

According to the CHP, after the motorcycle and vehicle collided, the rider fell down in the lane of the highway. The SUV, possibly a Range Rover, ended up on the right side of the road.

An ambulance arrived on the scene to attend to injuries of any victims. The motorcyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to reports. Tow trucks were also present at the scene. The accident is still under investigation.

“Both motorists and motorcyclists need to proceed with extra caution on all roads. Motorcyclists are entitled to all parts of the road and are very difficult to see at times,” said an attorney from Lexton Law Firm
