California Highway Patrol Investigating Collision
LOS ALTOS, CALIFORNIA (December 10, 2016) – A three-vehicle car accident occurred on the 280 North Freeway, just south of the Page Mill Road on-ramp on Saturday, reported the California Highway Patrol. (map)
According to the CHP report, the three involved vehicles were a white Dodge Ram, a blue minivan, and a gray Toyota Prius.
The fire department arrived at the scene and discovered the Dodge pickup facing the wrong direction and blocking the first and second lanes of Interstate 280. The minivan and the Toyota had come to a rest on the right shoulder of the highway.
The Dodge pickup truck suffered major front end damage. The minivan was also reported to have sustained damage in the crash.
Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene to assist any injured motorists.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
