LOS ALAMITOS: Four Pedestrians Hit by Car and Injured on Ball Road

“Investigation Ongoing”

LOS ALAMITOS, CALIFORNIA (October 11, 2017) – Four pedestrians were struck by a car and left with critical injuries on Ball Road on Wednesday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 2:11 pm at the intersection of Ball Road and Bloomfield Street. A grey four door sedan careened over the sidewalk, through hedges and then struck a Chase Bank sign. The car came to a halt just before striking the Chase bank building. In the process, the vehicle struck four pedestrians.

All four pedestrians were rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. A fifth person was reportedly hospitalized as well, but it is unknown of the fifth person was the driver of the car, or how they were involved. The driver of the car was identified only as a female in her 30s. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
