LONG BEACH: Pedestrian Struck by Car on Spring Street near Bellflower Boulevard

“Investigation Ongoing”

LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA (January 25, 2017) – A pedestrian was hit by a car on Spring Street near Bellflower Boulevard on Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 8:30 am at the intersection of Spring Street and Bellflower Boulevard. A pedestrian was struck by an unidentified car for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital for treatment by paramedics, and their current condition is unknown at this time. The driver that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated in the investigation, which is ongoing to determine cause and liability.

“According to experts drivers are responsible the majority of the time for pedestrian accidents. These collisions occur when drivers are careless and fail to yield in a crosswalk or when they turn right on a red light without looking out for a pedestrian,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California pedestrian accident and personal injury law firm.
