LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA (April 4, 2017) – An SUV was involved in a collision on Interstate 405 on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 10:11 am on the northbound side of the 405 Freeway, near Cherry Avenue. A gray Toyota RAV4 was involved in a collision with a second unidentified vehicle which immediately fled the scene.

At least one person was rushed to Long Beach Community Hospital after the accident, and their condition is currently unknown. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
