The accidents happened around 8:20 am when a tractor trailer failed to stop for traffic and smashed into a 2016 Honda and a dump truck. These vehicles then hit other cars, involving a total of seven vehicles.

Eight people were hospitalized as a result of the accident, and were taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, and Cooper University Hospital. The driver of the semi-truck was cited for reckless driving, and the investigation is still ongoing to determine cause and liability.
