“Investigation Ongoing”

LODI, CALIFORNIA (February 2, 2017) – At least one person was killed in an accident on Highway 99 near Turner Road on Thursday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 12:08 pm on the northbound side of Highway 99 near Turner Road. A 23 year old man driving a 2005 Chevrolet truck allegedly rear ended a 2001 Chevrolet truck hauling a trailer. The impact sent the 2001 Chevrolet truck off the road and into a tree.

The driver of the 2001 pickup truck, identified only as a 37 year old man, was tragically killed in the accident. The 23 year old man that rear ended the truck remained at the scene and initial reports do not indicate alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends affected by this tragic accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.”
