LODI, CALIFORNIA (February 2, 2017) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a 37-year-old man was killed on Thursday in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 99 near Turner Road. (map)
CHP Officer Charlie Katzakian reported that a 2005 Chevrolet truck, driven by a 23-year-old Galt man, lost control and rear-ended the victim’s 2001 Chevrolet truck around 12:08 p.m. Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the 37-year-old Isleton man dead after he succumbed to his injuries.
Officer Katzakian stated that the victim’s truck spun out and went off the roadway. The victim’s trailer detached and crashed into a tree.
