LIBERTY, MAINE (March 6, 2017) – Herman Reynolds has been identified as the man killed in a semi-truck accident on Route 3, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened on Monday afternoon, on Route 3 near Liberty. A pickup truck driven by 70 year old Herman Reynolds was involved in a head-on collision with an oil tanker truck. The impact caused the oil truck to overturn onto its side in a nearby grassy bog.
Herman Reynolds was tragically pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the tanker truck was identified as 56 year old Trent Cates, and Cates sustained no injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
