LE GRAND, CALIFORNIA (December 23, 2016) – At least one person was killed after a three car head on collision on Friday afternoon on Highway 99, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 4:45 pm at the intersection of Highway 99 and Plainsburg Road. A vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 99 swerved into the southbound lanes near Plainsburg road, and collided head on with two other vehicles.
At least one person was tragically pronounced dead as a result of their injuries. The condition of others involved is unknown at this time. The investigation into the details of this tragic incident is ongoing.
