LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (April 25, 2017) – A pedestrian was struck by a bus and killed on Las Vegas Boulevard on Tuesday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 2:30 am on Las Vegas Boulevard, near Lamb Boulevard. A man in his 50s was struck by a Regional Transportation Commission bus for an unknown reason.

The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital, but tragically was pronounced dead a short time later. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
