
LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA (February 7, 2017) — A collision involving a school bus occurred on Tuesday morning, around 7:15 a.m., on 20th Street East and East Lancaster Boulevard. (map)
The crash left the bus toppled onto its side and critically injured a student and another person. The school bus had been carrying eight students who were in the special-education program and two staff members. The driver of the car and one student were critically injured and hospitalized. Seven other passengers suffered minor injuries. The CHP still does not know how the crash occurred.
Police are still investigating the accident to determine the cause and liability.
