LAKESIDE, CALIFORNIA (April 5, 2017) – Two cars were involved in an accident on Maine Avenue on Wednesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
Reportedly, a car stopped abruptly in front of a vehicle before speeding off while the driver made faces at the car behind them. The car was involved in a collision shortly after. The vehicles were described as a red Corvette and a gray sedan, and it is unknown which of the two vehicles was the original one that was driving erratically.
One female reportedly struck her head in the accident, and an ambulance responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability.
