Sui Yuen, 60, Killed After Being Hit By Vehicle on Moraga Boulevard and Moraga Road

LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA (July 24, 2017) – 60-year-old Sui Yuen was involved in a fatal collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Moraga Boulevard and Moraga Road Monday afternoon, according to the Lafayette Police Department. (map)

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m when a ford F-150 traveling westbound on Moraga Boulevard struck Yuen as he was in the crosswalk, according to police officials.

Yuen was transported to John Muir Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of he pickup truck remained at the scene. An investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability of the accident.
