“Two Killed in Two-Car Collision”
LA PALMA, CALIFORNIA (February 4, 2017) – A fatal collision was reported on Saturday, at approximately 2:41 a.m., on La Palma Avenue and Walker Street on Saturday, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office. (map)
The two victims of the accident were 81-year-old Bernadina Lee and 47-year-old Rosemarie Medallo of Lakewood. Rosemarie Medallo was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange where she was later pronounced dead at 3:39 a.m. Bernadina Lee was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana where she was pronounced dead at 4:28 a.m.
No other information was available at the time of the accident. Police are investigating the accident to determine the cause.
