LA HABRA, CALIFORNIA (April 19, 2017) – A man was trapped inside his vehicle after it became wedged under a semi-truck on Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 2:47 am on Harbor Boulevard near Francis Avenue. An 18 wheeler semi truck was stopped on Harbor Boulevard facing north, and was baking up with flashers on to make a delivery to a local business. A car heading northbound on Harbor did not see the semi-truck and collided with it, and his car became trapped beneath the truck.
The 25 year old man was extricated by responding emergency medical personnel, and his condition is unknown. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
