PHILLIPS, WISCONSIN (July 4, 2017) – Kyle and Thomas Demauro have been identified as two of the six people killed in a weekend plane crash in Wisconsin, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 3:20 am near State Highway 111 and U.S. Highway 8. The plane dropped off radar a short time after the pilot reported speaking of “weather phenomenon”, and was found a short time later near the Town of Harmony. The plane was heading to Canada from Chicago on a fishing trip at the time of the accident.
All six on board the plane were tragically pronounced dead as a result of the accident. Among those killed were 56 year old Thomas Demauro and his 21 year old son Kyle Demauro. Also killed were 70 year old Kevin King, 69 year old Charles Tomlitz, 45 year old George Tomlitz, and 63 year old James Francis. The crash remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
