“Charter Bus Crash”
KRAMER JUNCTION, CALIFORNIA (February 27, 2017) – At least one person was killed and 27 more were injured in a crash involving a bus on Highway 58 and Highway 395 on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:00 pm at the intersection of Highway 58 and Highway 395. A bus reportedly veered into opposing lanes and crashed into two cars head on, sending the bus off the roadway. The bus was reportedly a charter bus belonging to A&F Tours, based in Arcadia.
At least one person, a 55 year old woman identified as Kristina Carey, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Seven other people were seriously injured, and 20 people reported less severe injuries. Multiple helicopters were on scene to transport the injured parties, and the current condition of others involved in the accident is unknown at this time. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability.
