PHILLIPS, WISCONSIN (July 4, 2017) – 70 year old Kevin James King was tragically killed along with five others in a plane crash on July 1st, according to a local news source. (map)
The Cessna 421 departed Chicago and was en route to Canada for a fishing trip carrying six people. Early Saturday morning, the pilot reported experiencing “weather phenomenon” just before dropping off radar. The plane crashed around 3:21 am just off State Highway 111 and U.S. Highway 8, near the Town of Harmony.
All six people on board the plane were tragically killed in the accident. On board was 70 year old Kevin James King, along with James Francis, and father/son duo Charles Tomlitz and George Tomlitz. Another father and son were also on board, and were identified as Kyle Demauro and Thomas Demauro. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
