HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA (December 10, 2017) – Karen Dewolf-Brown was identified as the woman that died after falling from a yacht during a party on Saturday, according to a local news source. (map)

59 year old Karen Dewolf-Brown was on board a yacht in the Huntington Beach area, around the 16400 block of Pacific Coast Highway. The Huntington Harbor Boat Parade had concluded a short time before, and there was an after party happening on many boats. Karen Dewolf-Brown was on board a yacht with her family, when they noticed her missing around 11:15 pm. A search immediately began.

Karen Dewolf-Brown was found in the water a short time later, and she was tragically pronounced dead. Karen was reportedly from the Quail Valley area of Riverside County, and initial reports also indicate she may have been a realtor.

An investigation has begun into why Karen ended up in the water, and whether or not alcohol was a factor. It is unknown who owned the yacht Karen was on at the time of the accident, but facts are still being released. Lexton Law is still receiving updates, and will continue to update this article accordingly.
