OAKDALE, CALIFORNIA (February 12, 2017) – Justin Rosa has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a collision on February 12th on Highway 108, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened on the westbound side of Highway 108 near Snedigar Road around 7:10 pm. A 28 year old motorcyclist identified as Justin Rosa was traveling west on Highway 108 on his 1999 Suzuki motorcycle when he was rear ended by a car that failed to slow down driven by an 85 year old man. The impact threw Justin Rosa off his motorcycle and into the eastbound lanes, where he was struck by a 50 year old man that could not slowdown in time.
Justin Rosa was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver that struck Rosa has been identified as 85 year old Clarence Green, and the second driver was identified as 50 year old Jose Negrete. Neither driver suffered injuries in the accident. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
