JOHNSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS (December 31, 2016) – A plane crash on Saturday claimed the lives of four people who have since been identified, according to a local news source. (map)
Four people were on board the single engine Piper PA-28 when it crashed around 5:45 pm in the woods of Johnson County. All four occupants of the plane including the pilot were pronounced dead at the scene.
35 year old Jordan Linder was tragically confirmed to have been one of the four people inside the plane at the time of the crash. With him was his sister, 26 year old Jasmine Linder, who was also killed. The investigation is ongoing by several federal agencies, and the manufacturer of the small plane is onsite as well to aid in the investigation.
