JOHNSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS (December 31, 2016) – A single engine plane crashed in Johnson County carrying four people, killing all of those on board according to a local news source. (map)

The plane crashed around 5:45 pm near Vienna in Johnson County. The single engine plane, described as a Piper PA-28, was carrying four people who have all since been identified.

One of the victims was 26 year old Jasmine Linder, who was on board the plane along with her brother Jordan Linder. The accident remains under investigation by the NTSB, the FAA, and the Piper PA-28’s manufacturer.
