NATOMAS, CALIFORNIA (March 7, 2017) – A woman killed in a cement truck accident on Monday afternoon has been identified as Jessica Jackson, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:45 pm on the northbound side of Interstate 5, near Interstate 80. A cement truck driven by 26 year old Jessica Jackson blew a right rear tire, causing the cement truck to swerve into the guardrail. The truck then overturned, ejecting Jessica Jackson.
Jessica Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. The accident remains under investigation as authorities probe why the tire blew, and to determine cause and liability.
