JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY (March 4, 2017) – A 35 year old man was struck and killed by a train near the Secaucus train station on Saturday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 1:30 am a bit east of the Secaucus train station. A North Jersey Coast train left the New York Penn Station around 1:00 am, and struck a 35 year old man a half an hour later.
The man was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center where he tragically succumbed to his injuries and died. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
