The accident happened around 3:00 am on the northbound side of Interstate 15, near Jean. A Nissan sedan was traveling northbound when it was rear ended by a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The impact caused the pickup truck to overturn, ejecting a female passenger that was not wearing a seatbelt.

The truck’s other two occupants, both males, were rushed to a nearby hospital. One of the two injured was in critical condition. The three people inside the Nissan did not report any injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
