The accident happened around 6:16 pm on the southbound side of Interstate 15, near Joshua Street. Jason Wallace was riding a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle between the No.1 and No.2 lane when he struck the rear of a 2012 Honda Accord in the No.1 lane for an unknown reason.
Jason Wallace was airlifted from the scene with a fractured ankle and pain to his back among other injuries. The driver of the Honda, a 54 year old woman identified as Frances Chalfant, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities in their ongoing investigation.
