JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA (February 27, 2017) – Three people were injured in an accident with a special needs school bus on Rampart Road on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 7:40 a.m. in the 7500 block of Rampart Road near Park City Drive. A school bus carrying 16 special needs students was involved in a car accident with multiple other vehicles for an unknown reason.

None of the students on board the bus were injured. However, the drivers of two of the involved cars and the bus driver were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
