JACKSON TOWNSHIP, OHIO (July 16, 2017) – Multiple cars were involved in a collision on Sunday evening on Interstate 76, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened on Sunday evening, on the eastbound side of Interstate 76 near Bailey Road. A semi truck crashed into the back of a 2012 black Volkswagen Tiguan, then struck a white Chevrolet work van. Several other vehicles were then involved, including a black Chevrolet Captiva, a red Nissan Rogue, a black Chevrolet Impala, and a silver Dodge Caravan, among others.
David and Mary Duffy, Seth Pratt, Brooke Herman, John and Nancy Marhulik and an 8 year old child were all critically injured in the accident and rushed to a hospital. The accident remains under open investigation at this time, and the semi truck driver has been identified as John Wilbert.
