The accident happened around 4:00 pm on Beach Boulevard and Starr Street, near 2nd Street. A motorcycle and a car collided for an unknown reason at the intersection.

The motorcyclist was identified as Israel Ponce, a 21 year old resident of Stanton, and was tragically killed in the collision. The driver of the car was taken to a local hospital. The accident remains under investigation at this time by local authorities.
