Fatal DUI car accident on 405 freeway near Arbor Vitae Street
INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA (December 10, 2016) – A man was killed in a possible DUI collision that involved three vehicles on I-405 North on Saturday morning, reported the Daily Breeze.
The crash occurred at about 5:35 a.m. on the 405 North freeway, near Arbor Vitae Street. (map)
The victim, who has not been identified, was driving a 1986 Honda Prelude at the time of the accident.
Ameerah Bradley, 29, of Compton was driving a 1996 Infiniti 130 and Miguel A. Bonilla, 59, of Van Nuys was driving a 2015 Saturn Vue.
All three vehicles were traveling northbound when the collision occurred.
While the crash remains under investigation, police believe alcohol and drugs played a role in the fatal crash. Bradley was arrested and taken to Centinela Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The identity of the Honda driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not been released.
Miguel Bonilla and 57-year-old Genoveva Bonilla, 57, were not injured but 23-year-old Michelle Bonilla, 23, complained of pain to her right leg.
