HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA (August 6, 2017) – A young boy was struck by a vehicle in an apartment complex near Atlanta Avenue and Delaware Street Sunday morning, according to Huntington Beach Police. (map)

The accident was reported at approximately 9:25 a.m. A young boy between the age of 4 and 5 was hit by a vehicle and dragged a few fee while riding his bike through an apartment complex, according to Lt. Bo Svensdsbo.

Paramedics arrived on the scene to treat the young cyclist. the boy was then transported to a local hospital. The identities of the the boy and driver were not released.

No other details of the incident were immediately available.
