HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA (February 26, 2017) – Three people were killed on Sunday morning in a car accident on Hollywood Boulevard near 35th Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. A car was reportedly speeding heading westbound on Hollywood Boulevard when it collided with another car in the intersection. One of the two cars caught on fire immediately, trapping several people inside.
At least three people are believed to have been killed in the accident and one woman was rushed to a hospital. Witnesses at the scene say the impact sounded like a semi-truck hit a building, due to its severity. The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
