“Fatal Collision”

HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA (January 11, 2017) – At least two people were killed in an accident on Wednesday early morning on Highway 152, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 3:28 am on the eastbound side of Highway 152, near Dinosaur Point in the Pacheco Pass area. A black 2015 Toyota carrying four people was heading eastbound at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control for unknown reasons. The car struck a nearby curb, rolled over, and collided into a concrete divider.

The 24 year old driver of the vehicle and a 22 year old female passenger both suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The remaining two passengers, identified as 23 year old Michelle Treadwell, and 22 year old Thomas Jones, were both seriously injured in the accident and were rushed to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
