The accident happened around 8:15 a.m. in the 2600 block of John Smith Road, on private property. A big rig reportedly struck a pedestrian for an unknown reason.

The pedestrian was reportedly killed in the accident. An investigation is ongoing into the accident to determine cause and liability in this tragic collision.
