HILLSBORO, OREGON (July 12, 2017) – Jay Elwell was identified as the worker killed in an accident at Intel’s Ronler Acres campus on Wednesday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened at the Ronler Acre’s Campus, located at 2501 N.W. 229TH Ave in Hillsboro. 50 year old Jay Elwell, a subcontractor employed by Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, was doing maintenance on a vertical industrial storage carousel when he was involved in an accident.

Jay Elwell was tragically declared dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
