HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA (March 2, 2017) – Christina Eileen Estrada and her son Jeremiah Robert Abbott were killed in a solo vehicle car accident on Main Street on Wednesday evening, according to a local news source. (map)
Authorities responded to the scene off Main Street around 6:45 pm. They found a car submerged in the aqueduct, and quickly began rescue operations. One child was ejected during the crash and another was rescued by the dive team of the Sherriff’s Department.
31 year old Christina Eileen Estrada was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Two children were rushed to a local hospital, where one tragically was pronounced dead a short time later. He was identified as 3 year old Jeremiah Robert Abbott, Christina Estrada’s son. There may have been a third child inside the car, but authorities have not been able to locate them as of yet. The investigation is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability.
