HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA (December 9, 2016) – According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a pedestrian woman was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on the 18000 block of Danbury Avenue. (map)
The SBCSD reported that the woman was crossing the road when a dark colored Saturn crashed into her at 6:30 p.m. and fled the scene of the accident. The female pedestrian was transported to St. Mary Medical Center with injuries.
The SBCSD states that the suspect was reported to be at the scene but left before authorities arrived at the scene. He was identified to have dark hair and be around 18 years of age standing at 6-foot-1.
