HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA (December 24, 2016) – A house fire claimed the lives of two people on Saturday in a house on Redwood Avenue, according to a local coroner’s report. (map)
The accident happened around 2:58 am in a home on Redwood Avenue. Authorities responded to reports of a house on fire, and found a home on Redwood Avenue almost completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters entered the residence and found 73 year old Lazaro Palomo Hernandez and 74 year old Guadalupe Palomo unresponsive.
Both Guadalupe Palomo and Lazaro Palomo Hernandez were rushed to Desert Valley Hospital, and were pronounced dead at the scene as a result of their injuries. The investigation is ongoing to determine what started the fire, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Arson detectives are heading up the investigation.
