HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA (February 14, 2017) – A woman was killed after she was struck by a car on Tuesday morning at the intersection of Hampton Road and Boston Road, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:55 a.m. in the 100 block of Hampton Road, near Boston Road. A Honda Civic traveling westbound on Boston Road reportedly struck a woman for unknown reasons.
The pedestrian, identified only as a 75-year-old woman, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda Civic was a 25-year-old woman who remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities. The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and liability of the accident.
