
Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision at SpaceX
HAWTHORNE, CALIFORNIA (December 17, 2016) – A hit-and-run driver crashed into three pedestrians outside the SpaceX headquarters at Crenshaw Boulevard and Rocket Road early Saturday morning, according to officials. (map)
The accident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. at Crenshaw Boulevard and Rocket Road.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and took all three victims to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
The drive fled the scene after crashing into the three pedestrians who were walking in a marked crosswalk at Crewnshaw Boulevard and Rocket Road. It is unknown if they were employees of SpaceX.
Hawthorne Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
